Beautiful Morning
The waves gently swell - morning fresh air
and wonderful roads washed so clean,
so quiet in the early morning. Night air, so different.
Loud, loud music in adjoining units -
Not long, one hopes.
Think of beautiful mornings - fresh air
and wonderful roads washed so clean.
Laundry day, sorting whites from colours,
news on TV, surprising, sometimes excellent,
mostly unpleasant.
Would be good to have channel with good news.
Mother’s gone back to washable napkins:
Sorry, I hate disposables -
no need to whinge about smell.
Do not blame council workers
for not collecting smelly napkins.
Morning, fresh air
and wonderful clean roads - so clean.
